About Main Street Cafe

Main Street Cafe is located in the heart of Downtown Bloomer. Donnie Stoik is the owner. Donnie is a active person; you will find him doing something all the time. He is retired from the US Postal Service after 30 years of delivering mail. He did this at the same time as running a restaurant!! Main Street Cafe is great place to bring your family for a great meal. The restaurant is handicap accessible.

• Opened in 1981
• 1983 Gold Butter Knife Award from the Chippewa County Dairy Promotion Board
• 1987 Wisconsin Best Dairy Restaurant of the Year-Best Promoter of Dairy Products
• 1991 Best Pie in the Chippewa Valley Award presented by the Girl Scouts
• Main Street Cafe sells about 2,000 pies a week
• We have 88 varieties of pie.
• Open everyday but Christmas and we close early for a few other Holidays
• The dinning room and Pie Shop was the Bloomer Theater at one time.
  
• Behind the Pie Shop wall are signatures from the Class of 1926 in Bloomer.
• Official Pie of County Jam 1987 and '88.
• Donnie was Camping Committee Chairman for the Boys Scouts Chippewa Valley 1998-2008.
• Now he is the Vice President of Properties for Camp Phillips Boy Scout Camp in Haugen, WI.
• Donnie is married to Jane Stoik. They were married in 1982 and have three children-Tim, Annette, and Katie and one granddaughter Calla.
  
• Main Street Cafe has celebrated June Dairy Day, June 1st, since 1981 and has always offered a free scoop of ice cream on pie, and free refills of milk.
• Main Street Cafe is a member of the Bloomer and Eau Claire Chambers of Commerce.
• The Cafe can hold about 300 people.
• The Cafe employs 40-50 people at any given time.
